Fans of action movies not only know and watched the movie “Gentlemen” but also probably noticed the interesting drinks present in different scenes. Alcohol cocktails are not just an attribute for the picture, they are the inspiration for all cocktail lovers, and no wonder that a New York catering company is doing its best to replicate them and add its own signature to every drink.

But what exactly are those cocktails that the Gentlemen characters would find interesting? Here is the list.

Not your ordinary cocktail menu

  • Gimlet Cocktail

What can be a better cocktail than refreshing gin with lime syrup? Combine them both with crushed ice and serve in a chilled glass with a slice of lime and an edible flower. Another idea is to cover the glass edges with sugar to create a frost effect.

If you want to go a step further and create your own lime syrup, mix lime zest, 60 ml of lime juice, 100 ml of water, and sugar in a saucepan and slowly heat it up until the sugar dissolves.

  • Ruby Rose Cocktail

An interesting and unusual cocktail made of coriander root, raspberries, a shot of vodka, some peach liqueur, and sugar syrup, finishing with lime and cranberry juice, garnished with a few chili bitters.

Usually served in a rocks glass with lots of ice. However, you can modify the serving by adding a spring of fresh rosemary for example, or a few drops of grapefruit juice.

  • The Kimmy Cocktail

An exotic cocktail that you won’t find everywhere. If you want to experience some new flavors, only the quality caterers can help you with that.

The Kimmy cocktail is made of chopped kiwi, sliced star fruit, Midori liqueur, rum, and pineapple juice. Served in a martini glass over ice.

  • Whiskey Sour Cocktail

This is one of the most ordered drinks in a bar. Usually, it is based on bourbon, rye, or blended whiskey. Mix it with lemon juice, sugar syrup, and egg white and serve in a rocks glass with orange zest or a cocktail cherry.

New York Sour is a modification of a classic version that on top of the traditional ingredients also includes Porto or any other sweet red wine or vermouth.

  • Bramble Cocktail

Bramble is a wonderful combination of forest blackberries and herbal flavors, whose history dates back to the 1980s, and was created thanks to the blackberry love of London bartender Dick Bradsell.

To make Bramble you will need gin, blackberry liquor, lime juice, and sugar syrup. Mix the ingredients together and serve in a rocks glass with 2 fresh blackberries on top.
